Kalie

There was a girl named Kalie. She was pale and skinny. Her parents died when she was just 5 years old. Poor Kalie, she had no one. So, her aunt and uncle brought her up. They were very mean to her. 

They used to live in a cottage, where everything was very neat, and tidy. Her uncle and aunt with their 2 daughters slept in a room, where Kalie slept in another room. The room she (Kalie) was sleeping was very shabby, with torn pillows, dirty blankets, spider webs on the ceiling, and the smell was a horror. 

On one cool morning, her aunt and uncle went out for an occasion. Their daughters went to school. Kalie was left home to clean the house, mow the garden, wash the dishes, and cook the food. 

How come poor Kalie do this work when she's just 11 years old??

While she was washing the dishes, she saw a shadow move outside the window. She was very shocked.

She locked all the windows and doors, and sat on a corner, frightening. She went out to see if someone's there out. But no one's there. 

After sometime, she again went out to see whether someone was there. She saw a wavy hair move along. 

When she went outside the house, she saw her aunt's 2 daughters. To her surprise, it was Kalie's 12th Birthday. They were wishing her with many presents. She felt very happy, and thanked them very much. That was the best day of her life...

Book Review

BOOK REVIEW

The book I read during my summer vacation is "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone". This is the frost novel in the Harry Potter series. Harry Potter consists of 7 books. This book was published in 1997. The author of this book is J.K. Rowling. Harry Potter discovers that he turns out to be a wizard. He makes close friends and a few enemies in his first years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Lord Voldemort, a dark wizard, killed Harry's parents but failed to kill Harry when he was just about 15 months old.

This book is completely about Ron, Hermione, and Harry, who go onto many mysterious adventures that are on their way, and how they face it. When one reads this book, they completely involve in a wizarding world, full of enchanted magic, and spells. Harry lives with the Dursleys for ten years. He used to sleep in a cupboard full of spiders. His situation was horrifying. When he receives a letter about Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry by Hagrid, he meets his new friends Ron and Hermione. He also has enemies such as Draco Malfoy, followed by Crabbe and Goyle. 

They were grouped into 4 houses namely - Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff, which is sorted by the Sorting Hat. Harry, Ron, and Hermione also find that there is a 3 headed dog near the trap door which is guarding the Philosopher's Stone. 

Harry also discovers that he has lots of talent on flying on broomsticks. He was then appointed as the Seeker of his Quidditch team. Quidditch is a game which is played on broomsticks in the air. For Christmas, Harry receives an invisibility cloak, and starts to explore the school at night.

He then discovers the 'Mirror of Erised', in which the viewer sees his deepest desires, which become true. They soon find out that the hidden object is a Philosopher's Stone, made by an old friend of Albus Dumbledore, Nicolas Flames, which grants its users immortality.

Then, they face lots of obstacles in the Forbidden Forest. Ron sacrifices himself in a life-sized game of wizard chess. Harry, who has a face to face challenge with Quirrell, admits that he tried to kill Harry, and Snape was trying to save him.

The school ends at the final feast, and Gryffindor wins the House Cup. Cheers!!!!! 

Harry returns to the Dursleys for the summer holiday, but doesn't tell them that first year wizards are not allowed to use magic outside Hogwarts.

I recommend this book to all the ages. This book is really amazing, mysterious, thrilling, and fantastic. I think that one should read this book in his or her lifetime.

What makes my parents special ?

Many times in life, we come across many people. who leave a great and powerful impact on our lives.

When somebody asks me, whom I could choose a hero or a leader, Gandhi or Mother Theresa don't come into my mind, because I think that, my parents are my role models, my inspiration, my motivation. My parents are not known all over the globe; they did not change the world, but they decided to change their own life by giving a birth to me, they have been a whole universe for me and I think it is not less important than becoming the first man on the moon. 

Parents are the closest people that we had, have or will have someday in our life. Our parents love us not because we are smart, or intelligent, or have a nice haircut, but just because we are what we are – their children. I think that parental love is the most selfless and fair feeling among all others. Parental love is something constant, because my mother will love me, no matter, what grade I will get in the school, what job I will choose or anything else. My father still calls me “my little girl’ and I think it is great. I do not remember dramatic or traumatic events from my childhood – it was the happiest time of my life, and the most carefree. When for your parents you will always be a child – it is a wonderful thing.

My mom's name is Jyothirmayi. My mom is special because she spoils me with so much love. You could build a ten storey high building with it. My mom is special because she has a wonderful sense of fashion.My mom is special because she is a great, caring mother. I am lucky to have a mom like this. She is loving, funny, and really cool. She’s the person I want to be with.

My mom is special because of all the things she does to make me happy. She always knows what I need. She is always there for me even when I’m sick. My mom is special because she loves me and I love her too. She understands me. She cooks so tastily that sometimes the smell floats in the air and reaches my nose. Her cooking is mouthwatering ! She influences me to read too. I guess that is how I became a bookworm! My mom is special because she comforts me. She helps me study. She helps we with my projects. I can say without a doubt, that my mom is the most special mom in the whole world!

Coming to my dad, he is a “HERO”. My dad’s name is Prasad. Every girl’s hero is her dad ! My dad is a handsome gentleman. I love him so much. He is special because he is tall, lovely, sweet, humorous, always happy, fulfills our needs, cool, always supports me, kind, helpful, energetic, joyful and what not ! He brings happiness in me and always encourages me to do something good which helps me and the society. When I feel sad or mad he makes me feel like nothing ever happened! My dad always gives his best and comes home with a smile. My dad sings very well. He is good at science, english and technology..I am absolutely sure that I am very lucky to have parents like this !! I really thank god because he give me parents like this..

I am not saying that my parents are perfect, what I wanted to say is that, my parents are the best.

I thank my parents to the fullest, because they showed me what the world is like, taught me what was right and wrong, showed lots and lots of love, affection and care, sacrificed a lot for me and my sister, and what not ! They are the best parents ever on the Earth.

Because of their encouragement, I am able to do each and everything which is good to myself and to the society. Because of their guidance, I am able to move and walk in the right path. My parents always say that sky is my limit. They always say that , “never ever give up”. Their words are very inspiring and very motivational. My parents support me so much. They sacrifice everything to us, and take the remaining. My father always says that, “First you eat, then I will eat.."

Their words give me a lot of support. Coming to my little sibling, she is the best of all. Her name is Shanthi. She is cute, chubby and what not ! She is the best sister ever..
Our parents support and help are the main reasons of who we are. They are the most amazing people that could exist on the planet.

TOPIC – PERSPECTIVE OF A FORGOTTEN OR A LOST TOY…..

Hello

I am the ever smiling teddy bear and my name is Honey. I m the only love of my holder and she is just 4 years old. She took me along with her parents to an exhibition and her inclination towards games had made her forget everything around including me. Although I tried hard to not to leave her tiny little hand , however all my effort went in vain. I can't walk on my feet and I was left on the ground below the ticket counter.

I wish I could speak but I am not capable of doing it.

It became dark and dark but my fanatic didn't come back searching for me , she was completely into enjoying her rides. The thought of getting separated from my mistress was breaking my heart into pieces, just then I heard a loud cry and it was none other than my four year old addict. She came running towards me , took me into her arms  and hugged me tight that was when I deeply sensed the pure form of love that kids out show. It was a moment that I admire even today whenever I think of that episode in my life. The kind of attachment that my lord had developed on a lifeless miniature like me has made me realize that the time I spent playing with her was never wasted, in fact it in return offered me a best associate. I knew that my owner would never leave me in case she gets a new toy which is more prettier than me. By the time, I will become spoiled and maybe she will throw me away. No doll would think like that in case if she/he ( the doll) has attempted that incident. But still saying honestly that I felt very happy and my emotions were not in my control. I conclude by saying that, keep your dolls with you. They share a lot of feelings and emotions...Don't break your friendship with dolls!!!!
